Daily horoscope (rashifal) API for apps
Computed from real planetary transits — not recycled text blocks.
What you get per call
POST /v1/rashifal/daily returns all 12 rashis in one call — overall + domain stars (career, health, finance, love, spirit), lucky number/colors/mantra, auspicious hours and Hindi + English prediction texts, all derived from the day's actual Moon transit and planetary positions (Rashifal module).
- One call/day serves your whole userbase's daily content
- Weekly rashifal per sign for retention features
- Pair with Panchang endpoints for tithi/Rahu-Kaal widgets on the same screen
Why computed beats canned
Users notice recycled horoscope text. Because predictions here derive from real transits over each Moon sign, content changes daily for astronomical reasons — and you can honestly market it that way. The same API serves notification snippets, widgets and full readings.
How many calls does a daily-horoscope app need?
As few as one per day: the daily endpoint returns all 12 signs together — cache it and serve millions of reads from your side. Refreshing the daily call hourly (~720 calls/month) plus the 12 per-sign weekly calls once a week (~52/month) still fits inside the free plan's 1,000 calls.
Is the content unique to my app?
The computed data (stars, transits, lucky details) is the same facts any client would get for that date; your rendering, tone and product around it are what differentiate. For personalised narrative from a user's own birth chart, Astro Shivanii AI's /v1/ai/predict covers the current dasha + transit period (billed as AI calls).
Can I white-label it?
Yes — it's a JSON API; no attribution is required in your UI. (A docs backlink is appreciated, never required.)
