Chart responses return English values with Hindi twins in the same JSON (e.g. "sign": "Leo", "sign_hi": "सिंह") at no extra cost. Astro Shivanii AI text comes in the language you request ("language": "en" or "hi") — Hindi costs the same as English: 1 AI call per language.
The honest fine print
The free plan hard-stops at 1,000 calls/month with a clear 429 and reset date (429s include CORS headers, so your browser app sees the real error). Paid plans start at ₹499/month and stop the same way at their own higher limits — calls pause until the 1st or until you upgrade, with no overage bills. No credit system anywhere: 1 call = 1 call on every endpoint.
Is the free tier really free — no card?
Yes. Signup needs only an email; the free plan gives 1,000 API calls + 10 AI calls per month, resetting monthly. Test keys (sk-test-) are separate and unlimited forever.
How is test mode different from a trial?
A trial expires or burns credits. GrahaAPI test mode is permanent: sk-test keys replay your request through the real endpoint code on a fixed sample chart, returning production-identical structure stamped meta.mode='test'. You can develop against it indefinitely.
Does Hindi output cost extra?
No — Hindi costs the same as English. Chart, panchang and matching responses carry English values with Hindi twins (e.g. sign + sign_hi) in one response. Astro Shivanii AI endpoints return the language you set with "language": "en" or "hi" — one AI call per language, so getting both is two calls.
